How We Worship
We follow the historic liturgy of the Lutheran Church. We are liturgical, that is, there is "an order of service" which is centered in the Word of God, and which we have received from our forefathers, and in which we are united in common use among the other parishes affiliated with the diocese. We are "sacramental," rejoicing that our Lord Jesus Christ comes to us by the work of the Holy Ghost through the means of grace. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is truly and substantially present in, with and under the bread and wine in Holy Communion and, as we try to remain faithful to the commands of our Lord Jesus in the serving of His true and substanstial Body and Blood, and out of great concern for their souls, we ask that people be instructed before receiving His Supper, meaning we only commune our own members and the members of other ELDoNA affiliated parishes.
